The Mind Marathon is a quiz game published by Edde Development. It does not collect personal data, it does not send anything anywhere, and it does not ask for an account. This page explains that in full, because Google Play requires a privacy policy even when there is nothing to disclose.
Last updated: 1 September 2026
Nothing. The Mind Marathon does not gather your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, device identifiers, advertising ID or usage analytics. We have no servers that receive data from the app, and no database in which anything about you could be stored.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to sell, share, hand to advertisers, or lose in a breach.
This is not only a promise — it is enforced by Android. The app does not
request the android.permission.INTERNET permission, which means
the operating system will not allow it to open a network connection at all.
You can verify this yourself in the app's permission details on Google Play,
or under App info on your phone.
Every question, picture and sound clip is bundled inside the app and read from your device. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is uploaded.
So you can close the app and pick up where you left off, the following is saved in the app's own private storage on your phone:
None of this leaves your phone, and none of it is personal information. It is readable only by the app itself. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app erases all of it permanently. You can also wipe it from inside the app at any time: Settings → Reset all progress and stats.
Two buttons pass control to software outside The Mind Marathon. In both cases nothing is transmitted by us, and both are used only when you tap them:
The app is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google collects its own information about installs, purchases and, if you have chosen to share diagnostics with Google, crash reports — independently of us and under Google's privacy policy. We receive only anonymous, aggregate statistics in the Play Console, such as the total number of installs and country-level counts. We cannot identify individual users from it.
The Mind Marathon is a general knowledge quiz suitable for all ages and contains no advertising, no purchases, no chat and no user-generated content. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either. We knowingly gather no data from users under 13, and there is no mechanism in the app by which we could.
Privacy law — including the GDPR and the CCPA — gives you the right to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to send you and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
The information the app keeps on your device is entirely under your control: reset it in the app's settings, clear the app's data in your phone's settings, or uninstall the app.
If a future version of the app ever collects or transmits anything, we will update this page before that version is released and change the date at the top. Any such change would also appear in the app's Google Play data safety section, which Google shows on the store listing.
Questions about this policy, or about the app in general, are welcome.
